Meray Paas Tum Ho has just aired its tenth episode and people are loving it for the flamboyant ensemble cast and captivating storyline, so much so that even after four days, the drama is still making rounds on social media with the teaser of the eleventh episode trending at number one. All the episodes of Meray Paas Tum Ho have been trending on Youtube throughout their respective weeks due to such a gripping story.
Meray Paas Tum Ho features the astounding Humayun Saeed with the gorgeous Ayeza Khan along with the dapper Adnan Siddiqui—perfect constituents of an unarguable hit. The drama starts off delineating a middle-class happy family with the head having a government job. The reason it is being praised by a huge populace is that the class of the family it depicts is relatable to most viewers.

However, in a turn of events, this happy family has been torn apart due to Shahwar’s intervention and his influential persona. He not only skillfully snatches away Mehwish’s admiration for her husband Danish, but also makes a place in her heart for himself.
In the trip to Islamabad, Shahwar asks Mehwish whether she wants to get off the wrong train and she agrees. In spite of witnessing his spouse lying to him about the trip, Danish politely asks her to relinquish the job to which she protests, so much so that she demands separation from the person she once loved.
Worried about the repercussions, she calls Shahwar asking him the next step and informing him about her husband’s plan to return Rs.500,000 he had given as her salary. Shahwar calms her down, telling her that he will take care of it but she needs to say yes if Danish asks her whether she wants a divorce.

The eleventh episode is arguably the most heartwrenching and pristine episode of not just Meray Paas Tum Ho but any Pakistani drama, ever. Despite not showing any sort of violence, cruelty, or barbarism, it triggers just the right amount of despair and empathy.
From “Goodluck” to “here is your phone” when Danish asked for it to call Shahwar, Mehwish was prepared to get off the “wrong train” all along. She looked sort of excited to be jumping on to the new chapter of her life. Her expressions in front of Danish were so cold as if spending any more time with him burdened her. On top of it, she doubted Danish for making a deal with Shahwar to let her go.
Being a successful businessman means one ought to be a communication savvy, having an idea about the psyche of different sorts of people. Shahwar was clear about his choice and knew how to make Danish relinquish the love of his life without any fiasco. As soon as he saw Danish is starting to turn red, he took out his phone to make him believe his love is no more the love he once loved.
Apart from the innate acting capabilities of Humayun Saeed, Ayeza Khan and Adnan Siddiqui, Khalil ur Rehman Qamar’s script made Meray Paas Tum Ho a treat to the ears. From dialogues about “the fear of breakage of dreams” to “if she’s unfaithful, she is wholly unfaithful,” the story is meant to break hearts and it certainly is.
Nadeem Baig is undoubtedly an exquisite director and Meray Paas Tum Ho is truly his magnum opus, for, every scene has its flavor and all flavors are in a perfect balance. From Danish sobbing but screaming internally, to Shahwar getting blown away while Danish reminisces on their university days, the juxtaposition of chaotic silence and powerful quotes is what makes Meray Paas Tum Ho a drama, 
Sameera comes home, engulfed in bruises and cuts and the ordeal is felt by her mother and sister alike. The way they looked at each other depicted how traumatic it is, for these women to come out of the dystopia.
In her second house, the house of her lawfully wedded husband, things were pretty pale and cold. Her mother-in-law hoped she dies and in spite of coming to know of the horrendous incident, Salman chose to spend time at home, in lieu of going to share her grief. The woman he loved insanely was laying on the ground a few hours ago and all he did was, cry.
The entire quagmire hit the whole family so bad that Hamza tried to beat the person who was just asking Rohina to watch out for her dress that was entangling the car door. Rohina was moved by the ordeal so deeply that she tried very hard not to cry and started shaking instead, as teardrops ran down her cheek.
Danish was agonized but wanted to spend a few pleasant moments with the person he was about to lose forever. As per the popular belief, men usually forget important dates but he remembered the wedding anniversary. Would he be able to forget the date, let alone an entire person? All he wanted was to make her stay for a few more hours, not necessarily for himself, but for Roomi. Would you have cried a little lesser if she had at least seen Roomi before leaving?
He asked her to let him make the tea and clean the table, questioned her about Roomi’s clothes because all he wanted was a little more words being uttered by the same girl whose voice taught him how to love. He knew she would leave anyway but he tried too hard to make her stay, for merely a few more hours or perhaps to make her realize.
She got scared of the person who had not gotten angry when a stranger praised her beauty in front of him, who saw her dance with someone she just met, who stood silent with teary eyes seeing her come from a distance at the airport with the same man he was doubting, who did not stop her asking him to break her free. Perhaps she was scared because she could not understand he was too shattered to respond aggressively.
