Dil Mom Ka Diya is the story of a family where an elder brother, looks after all the siblings. He gets married to a self-centered and careless girl.
Instead of acting sensibly in taking care of household duties she creates a rift with all the family members. Things get out of hand when she starts neglecting her children.
Ulfat, played by Neelum Munir, is a beautiful and young but a self-centered girl who doesn’t care about anyone.
Afzal, plated by Yasir Nawaz, after his father’s demise takes all the responsibilities of his siblings.
Ulfat’s ailing father wants to get her daughter married to Afzal. She accepts her father’s last request but makes a lot of fuss about it.
Tamkinat, played by Hira Salman, is Ulfat’s sober and sensible cousin working as a school teacher.
Azhar, played by Imran Ashraf, is Afzal’s younger brother helping him and trying to settle in life. Despite ill behavior by Ulfat, he respects her wholeheartedly.
Azhar develops feeling for Tamkinat and wants to marry her but his family is scared by the example set by Ulfat. Meanwhile, Ulfat also opposes this proposal, considering it a threat to her supremacy in the house.
But despite all odds, Tamkinat gets married to Azhar and acts very responsibly knowing that her cousin Ulfat has behaved very badly in the family.
Farhat, played by Alizay Shah, is the younger sister of Ulfat facing all the hardships of life.
Akmal, played by Hasam Khan, is Afzal’s youngest brother who is against Ulfat.

It starts off with Shafay, played by the talented, Affan Waheed, meeting Bia, played by the gorgeous, Aiman Khan, rather accidentally. Shafay’s friend, Rohail is in relation with Bia’s sister, Rabia, but he has a Casanova personality, playing with the feelings of different girls, to leave them heartbroken afterward. Rabia finds out Rohail cheating on her and she ends up giving her life, leaving her brother at Bia’s disposal.
Shafay gets sick and his mother, Maimoona, played by the veteran, Bushra Ansari, takes him to the doctor. She finds out her son suffering from HIV and AIDS. In lieu of telling this to her son, she decides to keep it in secrecy, getting him married to Bia. Bia and Shafay go to their honeymoon but due to Shafay’s fallen health, they get back. Bia hears Maimoona and Tabrez talking about Bia being affected by the virus too. She thinks about telling everything to Shafay but Maimoona blackmails her. She, in a response, starts to ignore Shafay but Shafay comprehends that his wife is cheating on him. He accuses her of cheating and she leaves for her brother’s house but his wife doesn’t allow her in the house. She tries to suicide but a man saves her and she starts to live with the man and his wife as their daughter.
Shafay gets seriously sick but he manages to take care of his pregnant wife. Bia promises him that he would be the first person to see his child. Upon the baby’s birth, Dr. Ayesha takes the baby girl to her father. While Tabrez says Azaan in her ears, Shafay counts his last breaths. After six years, Momina goes on a television show. She tells about her initiative to educate the Pakistani populace about the potential risks that can cause the disease. She also undermines a lot of stereotypes associated with the disease. She comes out of the studio and meets Tabrez and his granddaughter, Marium. They go the graves of both Shafay and Bia at the end of the finale.
Ample men and women in Pakistan hardly have any idea about this dreadful disease. As per a recent report, about 150,000 people have been diagnosed with either of these diseases. People who often live in rural areas are likely the populace with little or no idea about the cause, prevention, and transmission. Abundant residents of urban centers also don’t have any understanding of HIV or AIDS. Before marriage, even the highly literate fractions of society don’t opt for a prior clinical checkup.

Batool, played by, Mehar Bano is the youngest sister of Taimoor. She is a chirpy young girl, full of life. She becomes the second wife of Junaid.
What basically could be the potential cause of these deaths, can be the cause of Pakistani model, Anam Tanoli’s death as well. Studies claim depression to be the pivotal factor in the suicides of all these celebrities. For instance, Robin Williams has had diagnosed with depression, followed by dementia, that made him commit suicide. Likewise, depression, caused by betrayal has killed Jiah. Anam, on the other hand, has also become a victim of depression before giving away her life.
Few A-list celebrities have also come forward to speak their hearts out, on Anam’s sad, or rather discomforting demise. The immensely gorgeous, Armeena Khan takes to Twitter saying, “A young, up and coming Pakistani/Italian model died yesterday. On the face of it, it looks like suicide by hanging.” She closes her post with an ambiguous statement, “I wonder what could possibly have driven a talented young girl like that to take her own life.”
Abundant art enthusiasts have come under one roof to exhibit sheer joy, celebrating the flamboyant work, done by Late Master Eqbal Mehdi. One of the many spectators has shared her views about this event. She says, “I’m deeply moved by the level of originality in these paintings. He replied, “All the amount garnered from the sales of these masterpieces will be accommodated for the schools for poverty-stricken children in the Northern Areas and the Cholistan Desert. With a slogan which says, ‘Spreading smiles to miles’, we plan to not only provide academic education to these children, various skills will also be taught with the help of immensely talented teachers with a passion for philanthropy.”
The marketing and communication manager of the group, Laila Farah Naz has emphasized on the brilliant work of the maestro, Eqbal Mehdi. She says, “Eqbal worked excessively to demonstrate the vibrancy of our culture. The paintings he made speak volumes about our heritage and history.” She went on to say, “Fine arts’ students are usually taught about international artists, with little information about the exquisite talent Pakistan always had. I think it is the high time when we teach our students about commendable artists like Sadequain, Eqbal Mehdi, Abdur Rahman Chugtai, etc.”
