Mohsin Abbas urges people to open up about depression

Known for his impeccable acting skills and an impressive persona, the immensely talented, Mohsin Abbas Haider has been winning innumerable hearts throughout his career. Talk about playing Feeka in Lashkara or the ferocious villain in Meri Guriya, Mohsin is unarguably the perfect epitome of versatility. But the treasure of the talent he has does not end on merely acting, the actor is an owner of the majestic voice and has intoned many surreal songs, including ‘Uddi Ja’ from Coke Studio.

The ‘Meraas’ lead actor has recently taken to Instagram and Facebook to tell all his fans and friends that he is suffering from depression. He writes, “Depression is all set to kill me soon. I just wanted to say thanks to the people who caused it.” As soon as the actor posted it, ample fans and friends including, Ayesha Omar, Anoushey Ashraf, Osman Khalid Butt, Ali Gul Pir, Natasha Baig, amongst others have exhibited outstanding outpour of concern, love, and prayers.

However, the Muqabil sensation deleted the post after a couple of hours, only to put up a video delineating his strong message regarding depression. He captioned the video with “Love you All #LoveAndPeaceIsAllWeNeed… P.S. get rid of all those Toxic People in your life.” He started off the video by thanking all his fellow celebrities and fans for their “love, support and concern.” He further reaffirmed that everybody endures depression in a way or another. He continued, “Sometimes we talk about it and I personally felt better after opening up.” He said that he is not that kind of a guy who would reveal his personal life in front of anyone but there comes a moment when you feel it is the “end point.”

In the last few seconds of the video, Mohsin urged people to speak up about depression in lieu of staying silent because “it helps.” This motivational video got huge positive feedback from not only his fans but from his friends in the fraternity also.

The gorgeous, Ayesha Omar, the supermodel, Nadia Hussain, the enchantress, Natasha Baig, the surreal, Sadaf Kanwal and the stylish, Mathira instantly commented to express their love and admiration for the actor.

Supermodel Gigi Hadid sued for posting her own photo on Social Media?

Celebrities often endure innumerable shutterbugs clicking their photos every hour, often tarnishing their privacy. Meanwhile, the celebrities then post a few of these photos on their social media accounts to let their fans rejoice over the photos.

Have you ever thought a celebrity would be sued for posting their own photo on Social Media? Perhaps, this has come true in a strange turn of events when the model Gigi Hadid got into hot waters for uploading her photo taken by a paparazzi on her Social media account without permission.

As per the official documents, Gigi is being sued through a federal court by a photo agency for uploading the photo that had been taken in October 2018, without the consent of its photographer. Notwithstanding Gigi’s removal of the photo, the agency is longing for the monetary gains Gigi received through the photo as it got comments and likes of over 1.6 million users. Also, it is seeking profit as per the laws of copyright infringement.

“As of the date of this filing, Hadid’s Instagram account includes at least fifty examples of uncredited photographs of Hadid in public, at press events, or on the runway,” the documents reveal.

Just like all other stars, Gigi has taken to Instagram to clarify her position in October 2018, when the topic initially arose.

“Yesterday I heard from my management that I am being ‘legally pursued’ for my last (now deleted) Instagram post,” she writes. “The photo is by a Paparazzi and is of me on the street outside an event last week. I posted/smiled for the photo because I understand that this is part of my job, this was an appropriate situation for ‘the press’ to attend, and also that this is how paparazzi make a living.”

Moreover, the prima donna went on to speak about how all the celebrities relinquish their privacy due to paparazzi. “To the paparazzi, I understand that this is how you make your living, and I respect that this is something I must accept with my job. But there is a line,” she writes. “We are human beings, and sometimes it takes a lot of courage to engage with you because of the resentment I feel for the negative parts of these experiences.”

Gigi is not the only celebrity to endure the lawsuit for copyright infringement, divas like Khloe Kardashian, Jessica Simpson and Jennifer Lopez also had to go through the same for posting their own photos on certain instances.

People, celebrities standing up for #JusticeForUzma

We have endured 144 martyrdoms of APS in the winters of 2014, most of whom were children. Then we have witnessed a young girl Khadija Siddiqui, being brutally stabbed 23 times in 2016. In January 2018, we have found the photo of a minor girl, Zainab Ansari, who was ferociously killed on a part of the very land we live in. The inhumanely spine-chilling shooting spree in Sahiwal is rather a recent incident, where the father was shot abundant times while his children, standing there, probably saw a weapon in reality for the first time. The sad part is, these are not the only instances, there are ample examples of how children and adolescents were affected for the rest of their lives.

Perhaps a week back, video of a lady feeding a weaker girl went viral. The latter was Uzma, just 16 years of age, who was odiously murdered. Even a vulture does not feast on its food the way Uzma had been tormented in her age of adolescence. In the attainment of bread and butter for her family, she used to work in a household having literate human beings, or perhaps animals in the form of human beings.

According to the news reports, Uzma joined work eight months back where she was regularly subjected to loathsome beating and yelling by the very people she used to wash dishes for. Because of being kept hungry for a number of days, the starving girl tried to have a bite from the plate of one of the family members. As a repercussion, the girl was stricken with a metallic dish on her head multiple times, taking her into the forever sleep. Not only was she murdered gruesomely, but she was also then thrown into a sewer, only to be accused of theft by the people who had killed her in the first place.

Although the women who had killed Uzma have been arrested, Pakistani celebrities and people are not only concerned, but they are also enraged, demanding exemplary punishment to the killers. A few of the users have questioned the culture of hiring minor boys and girls as housekeepers.

A few have shared anecdotes from their lives, about how their family members always undermined child labor. People like these help us restore our faith in humanity.

The dapper, Ali Kazmi finds this moment “unspeakable.” He urges people to do anything and everything to stop this act become a norm.

Uzma is not the only child to be victimized horrendously by her employers, abundant children still sleep on the footpaths of streets that have cars worth millions. As of the start of 2019’s February, a huge number of children is immersed in domestic work and street labor in an age where they should attain proper education with health, happiness and a better way of life. We hope Uzma is the last child in Pakistan to endure immense torture.

All the winners of ARY Digital Social Media Awards 2018!

Last year had been a juxtaposition of laughter and sorrow and it could be seen through the dramas that were presented on ARY Digital. As we always bring nothing but the best for our viewers, it is our prime responsibility to ask our audiences about their feedback too.

As the sun of 2019 was rising, we created an online poll with different categories having a few A-list names as the nominees. The categories included best actor male and female for soaps and dramas along with the best male and female actors in supporting and negative roles. The poll not only shed light on actors, but it also incorporated categories for writers, directors, and musicians.

In a span of just twenty days, more than 115,000 people have come forward to vote for their favorite actors, dramas, writers, and OSTs. Starting off the results with a lighter note, people have voted Shahroze Sabzwari’s Ghar Jamai as their favorite sitcom.

Coming to the talent that has shown unprecedented acting, the gorgeous Areeba Habib and the dapper Wahaj Ali have won best newcomers’ award for Koi Chand Rakh and Haiwan respectively.

We’ve asked people about their favorite OST and notwithstanding some really surreal songs in the nominees, Dil Mom Ka Diya, intoned by Adnan Dhool and Sanam Marvi has won after a very tough competition.

Out of immensely talented artistes, people have voted the stunning, Kiran Tabeer for Meri Baji and the suave, Ali Ansari for Bubli Kya Chahti Hai as their favorite soap actors. Meanwhile, Meri Baji has been voted as ARY Digital’s most favorite soup.

A few of ARY Digital dramas had child artists who have reaffirmed our beliefs that the drama industry of Pakistan will surely have a bright future. Our audiences have chosen Areesha Ahsan for the flamboyant portrayal of Masooma in Haiwan.

For any actor, the successful depiction of a villain happens to be his/her magnum opus. With no doubts, the powerhouse of talent, Mohsin Abbas Haider has won the accolade for the best actor in a negative role for his intense and spine-chilling display of Dabeer in Meri Guriya.

Meanwhile, the veteran actress, Asma Abbas becomes people’s favorite actor in a negative role for her flamboyant acting in Khud Parast.

Apart from highly skillful actors, a successful drama comprises of some powerful dialogues. Saira Raza proves to be the best scriptwriter for Dil Mom Ka Diya.

The viewers of dramas that are being aired on ARY Digital can aptly fathom the significance of supporting actors. The handsome, Muneeb Butt wins for Koi Chand Rakh while the legendary Samina Peerzada takes the acting boundaries to a whole new level with Balaa.

The cuties, Aiman Khan and Affan Waheed are crowned as the best on-screen couple by the people and we are not surprised. Be it love or hatred, they complemented each other in every episode of Bay Dardi.

Our drama viewers from across the world have voted for Koi Chand Rakh as their favorite drama on ARY Digital for the entire 2018. Also, Shahid Shafaat has directed the drama with absolute mastery, becoming the best director for Dil Mom Ka Diya.

If you ever come across the word Balaa, won’t Bilal Abbas Khan be the first thing that will come into your mind? He has proven to be the next big thing in Pakistani drama scene for depicting a happy go lucky guy and a person longing for revenge in a single drama. The king of versatility is our audiences’ most favorite actor for all the right reasons.

Dil Mom Ka Diya could be the best drama of 2018 but one of the most pivotal reasons for its success is hands down, Ulfat and the way she had carried herself throughout the drama. From a carefree, selfish girl, to a responsible adult who took care of her ailing husband, the gorgeous, Neelum Muneer has done justice to Ulfat and we’re certain you could not agree more.

Sheheryar Munawar is a proud feminist

In the world full of chaotic debates about gender inequality, women empowerment, wage gap and the soaring me too movement, Pakistan has a few gentlemen who always stand up to defend women and endorse equality regardless of class, caste, or gender. One of these men is the super flamboyant, Sheheryar Munawar who has always been courteous to women on sets and in real life.

Recently, the actor has taken to Instagram, unveiling his sister’s views about him to the world. He posts a photo of a notebook’s title page that says “real men are feminists” with a handwritten note, apparently by his sister. He captions the photo with, “When your sister gives you the best gift. @nadiamunawar you are and have always been, an inspiration. #realmenarefeminists”

Sheheryar’s sister, Nadia Munawar explains, “Men think it is a women’s word. But what it means is that you believe in equality, and if you stand for equality, then you’re a feminist!”

Just like 2018, the year 2019 also appears to be a year full of big fat weddings. Recently the veteran actress Saba Faisal’s dapper son, Salman Faisal has had his Nikkah celebration and Mayun ceremony amid an abundance of excitement and love galore.

Yesterday, the groom, his suave brother Arslan and his gorgeous sister Sadia have taken to Instagram to post videos delineating Salman’s Mehndi ceremony incorporating flamboyant dance moves by all the family members and friends.

Kaisa Hai Naseeban | Will Marium escape or stay at her in-laws?

ARY Digital’s highly anticipated drama, ‘Kaisa Hai Naseeban’, produced by iDream Entertainment and helmed by Ahmed Bhatti, is literally a bold step in creating awareness in the society. It emphasizes another stereotype revolving around the daughters. From their birth, daughters are perceived that they will leave their parents’ house and their parents also tend to desperately find a match for them. The irony is that they often misjudge the boy and the family he belongs to because they just need their daughters to get married as soon as they must.

Kaisa Hai Naseeban depicts a family having two daughters and their parents. Both daughters, Marium and Farah love their parents to bits and it is evident from the opening episode. However, the moment we thought that the family is absolutely content, Marium’s rich paternal aunt comes from Malaysia and finds Marium suitable for her son, Ahmed. For the love of her aunt, Marium agrees to marry Ahmed and fly to Malaysia, that too right after the wedding, donned in her wedding dress.

As soon as she gets to Malaysia with her new family, she finds out that all the apparent wealth of her aunt is merely a lie. Moreover, her aunt clears her doubts by telling her the reasons for their downfall and Marium, like an obedient daughter in law, believes her. As time passes, she comes to know that she has been brought to Malaysia merely to serve as a maid, washing dishes, mopping the entire house, cooking and pressing clothes of all family members.

Marium stays silent because she feels that her husband is on her side, until one day when her mother-in-law intentionally drops a hot cup of tea over herself, followed by a fierce slap by Ahmed on Marium’s face. However, the next day, Ahmed apologizes and takes her to a city tour and she feels that the situation has calmed. Little did she know that her better half is a patient of bipolar disorder and he has proved to be one quite a few times.

Ahmed’s mother had taken a handsome amount of money from Marium’s father, promising to return it on her arrival to Malaysia. Ahmed invests the money in a business in collaboration with a friend Nooruddin but the person he has given all the cash runs away, leaving Ahmed with empty pockets behind. Also, Nooruddin warns Ahmed to return the money as soon as possible. Watching him threat her husband, Marium tells him they are going to return the entire amount in a month. Upon his departure, Ahmed, his mother, and sister, Sana blames Marium for doubling their troubles. She brings the jewelry given by Ahmed’s mother and asks her to sale it for the money. Her mother-in-law replies that the jewelry is fake, and instructs her to bring the jewelry her father had given.

Ahmed goes to a friend for the job, but not for himself. He comes home and asks Marium to work and upon her refusal, he warns her for repercussions. Albeit not even going out alone while in Pakistan, she goes to work in a restaurant as a waitress, only to get back home to work as a maid again. One day, while missing her parents, she calls her mother while everyone is asleep and starts to cry unintentionally. Ahmed sees her and accuses her of telling everything to her parents. He makes her call her mother again to tell everything is fine.

Due to the tiredness, she falls asleep on the train and misses her stop, getting somewhere else. Ahmed’s mother thinks whether she has run away. He goes to the room and to his relief, finds her passport laying in the closet. She comes homes and he pushes her, to blame her for unfaithfulness. In spite of being sick, Ahmed forces her to go to the office but her condition doesn’t let her to. Ahmed’s mother and himself try to make her feel better, not because they care for her but because they don’t want her salary to be deducted.

On the pay-day, her friend at work asks her to run away with the salary but she finds out that her salary has already gone to Ahmed’s account. On her way home, Nooruddin holds her hand and out of anger, she slaps on his face with all the power she had. As a result, Nooruddin sends police to their home to arrest Ahmed. While the police take him, his mother and sister request Marium to do something. She goes to the police station to beg for her husband’s release. Upon her arrival to home, her mother and sisters-in-law order her to apologize Nooruddin. He asks her to touch his feet if she wants her husband back.

Nooruddin comes back and pushes her violently for being the reason for his arrest. However, after a couple of moments, she goes back to her to apologize to her and says that he is sorry for his behavior and he does not want her to work anymore. She is happy at home when suddenly the bell rings and she opens the door. She finds out Nooruddin at the door and he tries to assault her but Ahmed comes from behind with two more guys, asking them to take him to the police for breaking in the house and trying to assault. Marium is relieved that her husband is the most dignified husband ever.

As soon as she develops some respect for her husband, she finds out himself telling his mother it was his idea to take everyone outside and send Nooruddin home so that he could get him imprisoned for attacking Marium. All hell breaks loose when his mother sees Marium and to make things look better, she slaps Ahmed, asking him to get off her sight. She makes him apologize to Marium but the latter is firm of going to the embassy to complain and return to her homeland. His mother then warns that her family’s reputation will be tarnished if she returns.

In Pakistan, Marium’s father is surrounded by loans and is very stressed. He tries to talk to Ahmed and his mother but they distract him from the real topic. Marium’s mother tells everything to her nephew, Affan, who used to love Marium. She shares that they are worried about Farah’s future and to their surprise, Affan brings his proposal to her.

At first, Sana does not agree but her mother asks Marium to ask her to accept his proposal. Marium’s friend from work gifts her a phone and instructs her to use it secretly. On the other hand, Ahmed’s sister, Sana finds her soulmate and plans to tie the nuptial knot after getting him meet her family. On her way home from work, Marium calls Farah, asking her to say yes for Affan’s proposal. At midnight, Marium calls Ahmed and to his shock, tells him that her phone is off and she wanted her to talk to Farah due to her birthday. He calls Marium to the room and they wish Farah a happy birthday.

The next day Ahmed and his mother are all set to scold or even hit Marium because of her phone but as soon as she comes home and he asks her about the phone, Sana comes home, crying. They leave Marium and start consoling Sana. When her husband comes to take her home, Ahmed ironically yells at him, the rights of a woman and the responsibilities of the husband while his own spouse stands at a distance, crying upon her fate.

Marium’s friend from work finds another job for her. Marium goes to a house to take care of an elderly woman. Sana’s husband finds Marium in his way to work and requests her to get in the car so that he could drop her to work. In the way, she tells him everything. One day, when Ahmed goes to her restaurant to request for an advance salary, the manager tells he is already giving her the benefit of two hours every day, he can’t give the salary in advance now. This makes him curious and he rushes back home, waiting for Marium to show up.

In our society, parents of the daughters who get married abroad usually consider themselves lucky because they think foreign countries have all the facilities that will occur as a blessing for their daughters but the reality is a lot different. Also, if you get your daughter married to someone in the family, you often don’t do proper research about the boy she is getting married to. This ignorance can also lead to her miserable life.

With Kaisa Hai Naseeban, ARY Digital brings another reality in the mainstream that most people don’t want to talk about. Daughters are precious and a form of blessing according to our religion. PSL 4 starts off with an exhilarating ceremony!

As the clock hit 9:00 PM PST, not only Pakistani streets but also, the streets of Dubai seemed deserted because of the opening ceremony of Pakistan’s highly anticipated cricketing event, Pakistan Super League (PSL).

Spectators stand for the national anthem to officially start the ceremony amid an outstanding graphics’ show delineating Pakistani flag. After the countdown, veteran cricketer, Ramiz Raja comes to the podium to give a formal intro of PSL, inviting the chairman Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), Ehsan Mani.

An instrumental band comes to the center of the stadium to play the instrumental version of acclaimed, ‘The Final Countdown’, giving it a Desi aura with Dhol. Even before the audience could end clapping, the legendary ‘Bony M’ takes the stadium by storm with performances on their super-upbeat songs ‘Daddy Cool, ‘Ma Baker’ and ‘I love you’, keeping eyes of all the spectators at home, glued to the screens.

Donned in a peach jumpsuit and subtle makeup, the stunning Aima Baig walks to the stage, singing her outstanding rendition of Nazia Hassan’s ‘Disco Deewane’. The immensely talented, Shuja Haider joins her, dressed in a black jacket looking absolutely chic. Notwithstanding the absence of background, the constantly changing hologram throughout the show provides grandiosity to the event.

As soon as Aima and Shuja end their performance and the audience decides to finally settle on the seats, the sound of an electric guitar arises giving goosebumps to all the viewers. A few seconds pass and three legends emerge from the backstage, giving a new life to the entire jam-packed stadium. With Brian O’Connell and Salman Ahmed on the guitars, the exceptional, Ali Azmat holds a microphone, enthralling the Dubai International Stadium with unexplainable energy.

Junoon gives a full throttle with ‘Yaar Bina Dil’, followed by their debut song, ‘Heeray’. Ali Azmat dons a black hat and a leather jacket with Salman Ahmed wearing a green sherwani and his signature hat while Brain O’Connell wears a blue kurta and a burgundy waistcoat. All three superstars come together to perform on ‘Yaron Yehi Dosti Hai’ in the midst of an infinitely charged audience who does not want them to stop at all.

Salman sprinkles the magic from his guitar across the stadium, getting all the people to jump with joy, joined by Ali Azmat intoning Junoon’s super hit song, ‘Jazba Junoon’ amid a phenomenal display of fireworks with every Pakistani present in the stadium singing along, giving it an aura of a majestic concert.

There’s no stopping the crowd now because Junoon has exhilarated it with their contagious energetic performance. To give the audience what they deserve, the suave, Fawad Khan arrives at the center, singing the official PSL 4 anthem in a navy blue jacket with Young Desi, followed by the arrival of all the teams and their owners behind their team flags and mascots in the arena. The show ends with the keynote speech of UAE’s Minister of Tolerance Nahyan bin Mubarak al-Nahyan and a plethora of fireworks.

With such an exuberant inaugural ceremony, we hope the entire tournament will be filled with innumerable joyous moments and fair play. May the best team win.

True love finally wins in ‘Koi Chand Rakh’

One of the immensely popular Pakistani dramas, Koi Chand Rakh ends but it caters a literal watershed moment for the Pakistani drama scene, with its exceptionally flamboyant storyline and immensely talented ensemble cast incorporating the gorgeous Ayeza Khan, the suave, Imran Abbas, the dapper, Muneeb Butt, the surreal, Areeba Habib, amongst others.

It starts off revealing two families; one has siblings, Umair and Nashal, their parents and a cousin, Rabail. Rabail is a doctor while both Umair and Nashal are students. On the other hand, another family comprises Zain, who is also a student, his younger sister, Sobi and their parents.

Zain sees Nashal on a trip and finds himself fallen in love with her rather instantly. He tries to get to know her name and she jokingly replies with Rabail’s name. Meanwhile, heads of both the families are old friends and upon seeing Rabail for the first time, Zain’s father asks her uncle if she will marry Zain. He goes to Zain and gets his speedy approval after revealing her name in front of him.

Rabail’s friendliness towards Umair makes him think she has fallen in love with him. He expresses his love but she declines because she had always taken him as her younger brother. He is then sent to another city to study and Rabail tells him that she is going to wait for him.

Zain finds himself in a shock when he comes to Rabail’s home to meet her thinking she is actually getting married to Nashal. But for the sake of his father’s desire, he says yes and also because he wants to make Nashal take the first move so that he is no more the person who is to be blamed. But instead, Nashal proves to be as stubborn as him and she stays quiet, resulting in Zain and Rabail’s marriage. Umair comes back on the wedding day and questions Rabail’s attachment towards him but ends up being heartbroken.

In the meantime, Zain’s father comes to know that he is in love with Nashal but he still requests Zain to fulfill the duties of a husband. On the wedding night, Zain insults Rabail of being a boring human and a person he would have never wanted to get married to. But due to his father’s promise, he keeps the relationship intact. But he is not the only person trying, Rabail is also longing for a happy and healthy relationship with Zain.

Nashal and Zain are still meeting in secrecy and she tries her best to tarnish Rabail’s image in front of him. She brings fake love letters of Umair for Rabail to Zain, proving that she is not a good person. Zain starts to hate Umair and bans his entry from home. Also, he accuses Rabail of cheating on him with Umair. He gets married to Nashal secretly against everybody’s wishes and Umair finds it out and blames her for ruining Rabail’s home. Nashal’s father pushes her out of the home and as a result, she comes to Zain’s home and in spite of constant disapproval starts living with them.

Rabail leaves for her uncle’s home because of immense depression. She expects a child and this makes Zain think about her a bit. This angers Nashal and she makes him hate his own family. As a result, the couple shifts to a new home but Nashal’s grievances and insecurities start to escalate because he often goes to meet his family and Rabail. One day while he is with Rabail, she complains of head-spinning so he takes her to the hospital.

Notwithstanding the birth of his daughter, he does not even take her in his arms and plans to spend his life with Nashal but she becomes annoying with each passing day. As time passes, he realizes Rabail is the only girl that can ever make him live life with contentment. In the end, he apologizes to Rabail and expresses his love for her, asking her to come with him. But she refuses, asks him for separation, goes to Umair and says, “I have surrendered myself in front of your true love.” They go to play in the rain and apparently live happily ever after.

Women are usually considered as homemakers, enduring their husband’s tantrums on a daily basis. Given that they are popularly known to be the weaker gender, they are often kept at a distance while taking important decisions or embarking on new journeys. Also, in a society like ours, they lack the power to decide their own future. Similarly, in Koi Chand Rakh, Rabail had been pressurized by Nashal, Umair and their mother while being at uncle’s home, and then by Zain after getting married.

Rabail’s last conversation with Zain plays a pivotal role in shedding light on the issues Pakistani women face every day. By asking for the separation, she speaks for the women who have lost their audacity to decide anything, in spite of having a baby with him. Also, she delves into Zain’s relationship with Nashal and says even she does not deserve pain.

As the entire country is totally immersed in the fourth installment of Pakistan Super League (PSL), ARY Films is all set to double the excitement by announcing the release date of the highly anticipated upcoming flick, ‘Sherdil’ in collaboration with NK Pictures along with a spine chilling teaser.

SherdilThe movie depicts the Indo-Pak war of 1965, having the dapper, Mikaal Zulfiqar as the protagonist of the movie. The teaser starts off with three Indian jets coming into the Pakistani territory. The next scene opens into the military drill with the commander telling all men that they will learn “Duty, Honour, and Love of Country” through the training.

SherdilThen comes the apparent antagonist Hassan Niazi aka Arun Veerani of the Indian Air Force getting out of his jet, followed by the fist fight of him with Mikaal. It also delineates a few powerful dialogues that will probably give you goose-bumps. The teaser ends with Mikaal chasing the enemy jet and finally being able to take it down with absolute mastery.

SherdilWritten and produced by the debutant filmmaker, Noman Khan, Sherdil depicts a plethora of patriotism and enthusiasm shedding light on the lives of fighter-jet pilots becoming a pivotal catalyst in Pakistan’s victory in the 1965 war.

The music of the upcoming visual delight is given by Soch Band and the immensely talented, Mustafa Zahid. Apart from Mikaal and Hassan, the movie also includes flamboyant actors like the gorgeous Armeena Khan and the surreal Sabeeka Imam as a part of the ensemble cast. Helmed by Azfar Jafri, Sherdil is all set to hit the cinema screens across the country on the 22nd March 2019.

Hania | A story of heartbreak and cruelty

The word ‘Divorce’ has a stigma attached to it in our society. ARY Digital’s ‘Hania’ revolves around the journey of a girl who faces marital abuse, and wants to be free from the marriage, but is afraid of facing the wrath of the society.

Zoya Nasir as Hania is a girl who is innocent and full of life. She belongs to a middle-class family.

Junaid Khan as Junaid is a handsome and arrogant guy. He belongs to a rich family.

HaniaHania and Junaid get married, and Hania faces physical and emotional abuse after the marriage. Osama Tahir as Rohan is Hania’s cousin who went to study in London. His parents start looking for his proposals after his return.

Ahsan Talish plays Waqar and Alizeh Gabol plays Sumbul. Waqar is friends with Rohan’s parents. Sumbul is his daughter who is a strong-headed girl and lives her life her own way. She eventually gets engaged to Rohan.

Ghana Ali as Maira is the younger sister of Hania and is opposite to her sister. She is straightforward and outspoken.

Waseem Abbas plays Ahsan and Ismat Jamal plays Jameela. Ahsan and Jameela are the parents of Hania and Maira.

Firdous Jamal plays Fareed and Atiqa Odho plays Saira. Fareed and Saira are the parents of Rohan. Fareed is the step-brother of Ahsan, Hania’s father.

Nayyar Aijaz as Vohra is the father of Junaid. He is a highly corrupted man involved in various illegal activities.

Supermodel Vaneeza Ahmed’s sister, Isha laid to rest

Because of an unfortunate road accident on Friday night in Islamabad, three women, including Isha, the sister of legendary model and actress, Vaneeza Ahmed had lost their lives.

According to the reports, their car fell into a drainage ditch in the capital, taking the life of all three women. Isha was sitting in the back seat with Rimla and Hina who had died on spot. However, the people in the front seat were taken to the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) after enduring serious injuries.

Vaneeza’s fellow model Zainab Qayoom was one of the few people to break the news of Isha’s sad demise. The model took to Instagram to share a memory with the deceased. She wrote, “I remember Vinny picking Ayesha & me up from college and bringing us to the hospital when you were born. To me and everyone else you were and always will be our sweet, gentle, animal-loving baby with the sparkling eyes, ready hugs and gorgeous smile. Till we meet again my darling Isha. I hope you are shiny happy and have met my Mom. in my prayers always.”

Talking to Vaneeza, she said, “Stay strong for Aunty. May Allah give us all the strength to bear this heavy loss and May our baby be granted the Highest level of Jannat Ameen. I never thought I’d be the one saying Allah Hafiz to you Seesu. 24 is just too young.”

In a Facebook post, Vaneeza shares a few heartfelt photos of her younger sister along with her obituary and mentions the two other women who had lost their lives in the sorrowful accident.
